A Millance is a web production team made up of freelance designers, coders, and photographers — who also model for our own photoshoots. Because design, coding, photography, and modeling all happen in-house, we can carry a project through from photoshoot to design to development without handing it off between separate vendors — so the look and feel stays consistent from start to finish.
A We work in three ways: the no-code platform STUDIO, WordPress, and fully custom code. Since we have coders on the team, we're never limited to what no-code tools can do. After learning about your budget, how often you'll update the site, and what features you need, we'll recommend the best approach for you — pricing varies depending on which one we use.
A STUDIO works well if you update your site infrequently, need only a few pages, and want to launch quickly. WordPress is a better fit if you plan to publish blog posts or articles regularly, or if you'll eventually need features like bookings, e-commerce, or membership accounts. We'll help you figure out which one suits you during our initial consultation, so it's fine to reach out even if you haven't decided yet.
A Yes. For animations and custom layouts that are hard to achieve with no-code tools, we build with full custom code. Since we're not fitting your site into a template, it's less likely to end up looking like everyone else's.
A Yes. Our All-in-One Brand Launch Package includes a 4-page website plus your choice of two additional design pieces — a logo, social media post templates, a highlight cover, a web banner, or printed items like business cards and flyers. Since your web, print, and social media designs are all created with the same look and feel, you can handle all your pre- and post-launch branding needs in one go.
A Yes. Our Visual Branding Option covers everything from planning the concept of the shoot to the photoshoot itself, retouching, and optimizing images for web, social media, and print. Shoots are handled by a professional photographer formerly with Sankei Sports. Since we never use stock photos, your images won't overlap with any other business's.
ANot at all — our own team members act as models. We can cover a wide range of scenarios, from playing the customer or staff member to standing in for job interviews or meetings. Because our members already understand your business, they can capture the mood you're going for, which makes the shoot go smoothly.
AYes, we can build your site around the photos you already have. That said, inconsistent lighting or color, or shots whose composition doesn't quite match the purpose of the site, can noticeably affect the final impression. If you're not sure how your photos will come across, we're happy to suggest a plan that includes a photoshoot.
AWe offer three: the High-Converting Landing Page Plan for a single-page website, the All-in-One Brand Launch Package that combines a 4-page website with various design pieces, and the Visual Branding Option, which includes photography. Cost varies based on the number of pages and production method, so we start with a free consultation to understand what you need.
AYes, it's completely free. After you reach out through our contact form, we'll ask you to fill in a questionnaire, and we'll put together a quote based on your answers. There's no cost involved at the consultation or quote stage.
AWe ask for half of the total fee as a deposit before we begin work, with the remaining balance due after final approval. Once we've confirmed the final payment, we'll deliver all the files.
AAs a rough guide, a single-page website takes about a month, and a 4-page website takes about two months. Timelines may run longer if the project includes a photoshoot, or if it takes time to prepare copy or photos. If you have a launch date in mind, just let us know during the consultation.
AUp to two rounds of revisions are included in the price. We build in checkpoints during production for you to review the work, so please gather your feedback and share it with us at those points. A third round of revisions, or a major change in direction, will require a separate quote.
AAfter you reach out through our contact form, we'll issue a quote based on your answers to our questionnaire. We'll then meet online to work out the site's direction and schedule, and begin production once the contract is signed and the deposit is paid. You'll prepare the copy and photos, and we'll check in with you along the way for feedback before delivering the finished site once the final review is done and the remaining balance is paid.
AMillance is based in Tokyo, but since our meetings are held online, we can work with clients anywhere in Japan. We can also travel on-site if needed, and for plans that include a photoshoot, an in-person meeting is part of the process.
AAbsolutely — it's fine to reach out even if you haven't decided what to include on your site yet. We'll organize what information you need based on our interview with you, and our team will also help polish the wording that goes on the site as part of our text support. We keep things jargon-free, so first-timers can feel at ease working with us.
AYes. In fact, it's easier to unify the look and feel of your logo, website, business cards, and social media if you reach out to us while you're still preparing to launch, so you won't need to redo any of it later. Helping clients prepare for a grand opening or a new launch is one of the things Millance does best.
AOur production team is made up entirely of women, which means we can design the atmosphere your female customers will respond to — down to the choice of photos, colors, and wording. It's not just about making things look nice; we build the entire impression of your site around who you want to reach and how you want to be seen.
AWe reply within 2 business days. You can reach us either through our contact form or by emailing info@millance.site directly.
